The board meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairman Younglove.   Pledge of allegiance was recited.  Supervisors Groy and Wagner were present along with 9 residents. 

Motion to adopt agenda as written by Supervisor Groy and seconded by Supervisor Wagner.  Motion carried. 

Minutes of the 6/11/24 meeting were read.  Motion to accept the minutes as read by Supervisor Groy and seconded by Supervisor Wagner.  Motion carried. 

Treasurer’s report given.  Motion to accept report by Supervisor Groy and seconded by Supervisor Wagner.  Motion carried. 

Recycling/garbage report showed 22.5 tons of garbage and 6.08 tons of recyclables for the month of June.

There were 5 building permits, one fire number and 2 razing permits in the past month.  A 30x20 addition on Town Corner Lake, a 26x36 pole barn on gravel on Dam Road, a 15x23 deck on US 141, a 29x20 addition to a detached garage on Crowe Road and a 26x52 manufactured home on County L.  The fire number was on Shoreline Drive and the razing permits were on County L and East Roush Road. 

Board of Review Alternate volunteers were requested and Jeff Mueller and Bruce Djupstrom volunteered. 

The Beecher Lake District Valves was tabled until next meeting since Gary will be talking to the guy that is currently to take care of the valves this week.  Also there is one valve that may not be working that needs to be dealt with. 

Paul Dalman came regarding the fishing club having a brat fry.  They will try to have on the end of the month and see how it goes.  They have gotten a lot of positive feedback on the park benches and picnic tables and everyone using the park have been respectful and cleaned up after themselves.  The clerk will contact Eric Burmister regarding getting some posts to keep people off the grass.  The club would like 30. 

Discussion of ongoing road improvements showed the crew has been mowing along the road and grading.  The loader has an oil leak that has to be looked into.  Scott Construction should be in the town working mid July to early August. 

Correspondence with the quarterly fire department statement. 

Under public comments, Mike Gotstein was here to represent the rescue squad as their new president.  The town appreciates the work they do and are available to help whenever they can. 

Motion by Chairman Younglove to approve bills in the amount of $49,939.45 and seconded by Supervisor Groy.  Motion carried. 

Next meeting will be August 13th at 6:00 p.m. 

Motion by Supervisor Groy and seconded by Supervisor Wagner to adjourn the meeting.  Motion carried.  Meeting adjourned at 6:21 p.m.
